The Great Escape

For the holidays, my parents went to Australia for five days, leaving us five (me and my siblings) at our kampung in Rawang. I dont technically call it a kampung though. For it’s surroundings are very “city-like”. There are barely no chickens at all, nor cows. Instead, our next door neighbour has rabbits and cats.

Day one, the accident.
We reached our kampung by noon and everyone went scrambling to do their own business. I found Ada, which is a fifteen year old girl. She’s probably my gang there, for I was the only forteen year old around. My lttl sister found the bed, Azhad found AlfiShahrin, a seven year old bully whos hair stays up like a porcupine and Ammar found a bike. Ammar stayed with the bike and he fell in love with the bike. He rode the bike here and there. We had bikes back in our house. Its the space that we lack.

It was around two-or three or four when I heard everyone panicking. I was in the bedroom at that moment. flipping through magazines. Kak Erna came into the room, with Ammar by her side. He was in tears and his jeans were torn bad. He was hit by a motorcycle =,= No surprise

My aunty Ina then brought him to the klinik, escorted by five people altogether. (ramai kan?) It wasn’t THAT bad though. He only cut his knee and wrist and a few bruises on his legs and he can’t move his fingers. That was it. The doctor checked him and said that it was okay. We got back to the house and Ammar was still crying. He said that there was something in his skin. He tried to get it out and finally, found some amount of sand. (funny, the doc mentioned nothing about that)

Day Two, Non Stop Visitors.
It was weird. Guests came in and out from morning till night. It was at some point fun but at another point-a bit annoying. Me and my cousins had loads of things planned in our heads. Fathin,Hilman,Arif,Ayim,Yana and Hakimi came today.

Ayah Ju’s family came at noon. He’s my mothers eldest brother. He has a family of nine and you could probably see him in textbooks. He creates robots. We celebrated his second daughter(s) Kak Ngah and Illa. Kak Ngah’s a nurse and currently still studying. We couldn’t stop teasing her about that. The kids loved playing doktor-doktor once, and to have a real nurse now was just so awesome.

They set off and then came Aunty Ina’s husband’s family (hehe). I had no idea on who they were so we stayed in the kitchen most of the time while watching Rambo 4. Let me tell you, Rambo was fckn awesome!!

& by night some other family came till 10 o’clock :)

Day Three, Cupcakes Cupcakes.
We woke up whoozy and not knowing what to do exactly. Since our Aunty Ina was such an excellent cook, she taught us on how to make cupcakes. We went through books about cucakes and finally decided to make lemon cupcakes.

The ingredients were simple, lemons, flour, sugar, butter, yolks, blah blah. I cant remember it all though =,= We started baking by noon, with six helping hands. Ada,Fatin,Yana,Lisa,Al including me. The cupcakes turned out wonderful and we even had the chance to make icing.hehe. It was pink in color and-not to mention, EXTREMEEEEELY SWEEEEET! Too sweet, I must add. The best part of making cuppycakes were the decorations.

The little boys ambushed us when we called them to decorate the cakes. Sprinkles and flour were everywhere in the kitchen. It was hell messy-yet still fun. :)

Day Four & Five.
—we did nothing. It was boring, B-O-R-I-N-G Happy Holidays!,Only 9 days left to burn. Spend it well ;)

Happy Mama's Day!

Dear mother, I’d like to thank you
For showering me with love and care
I’d like you to know that I love you too
And that a mother like you is ever so rare

You brought me up ever so well
You know me inside out
My hidden feelings you can tell
When I laugh, shout or pout

You showed me what being gracious is
You taught me how to speak
You told me not to curse or diss
You said knowledge I should seek

I want you to be happy
I want you to be content
I want you to be proud of me
All for a hundred percent

So on Mothers Day today
I want to show it to you all day
But fret not, this is just one way
of telling you that I LOVE YOU, Mum
And that is all that is left to say-by Ayumi
Ma, ILY everyday <33

Malu Bertanya,Sesat Jalan

My mates are driving me nuts! They talk about those Korean movies and sitcoms 24-7. So,probably, everytime I enter the class, my world has flipped up side down and no one can speak Malay nor English any longer.

Like c’mon, all I hear was “hota-riro,mushi-maro,hamta-ro” whatever them people are trying to say. They would go on and on and on and on and on. And this post might be a discrimination to those Korean freaks but frankly speaking, I can’t even differentshade a Korean with the other Korean. Seriouslehhh.

So today- I went to school, hoping everyone would be deadly ill to talk about the Koreans. So I sat with Aimi, Jamilah, Khairiah, Huda and Milla. I tried to start a topic but no response. Then suddenly- “Eh korang, tengok tak Lee-Jun-Ki semalam? blah blah blah” Like OMGGGGGG, one second Im beggin’ you one second-can’t you stop?

I blended myself in the crowd with Khairiah. She too had no friggin idea on what the girls are talking about. We then decided to jump and interrupt in their never-endng conversation.

KHRH: Woi,tgk tak cerita tamil tu episode 8,567?

ADBH: Tgk tgk, omg-mamak tu like gila HOT weiii.

No response. grrr

Then suddenly, I thought of another idea. To make myself less distracted, I tried joinining them. They started this word. “yeppo”  and started using it. And then-I interrupted,

ADBH: ana yeppo!!

They carved a smile and continued talking nuisance =,=

Another word came, “yinom”. And they applied it in the conversation.

And so again- I interrupted.

ADBH: ana yinom ana yinom!

This time, laughter came ber-bundle-bundle and I was left puzzled. They kept laughing for 5 minutes and then stopped. So then I asked them, what does yinom mean? And they said—TAK GUNA.

Yinom!!

Family Time

So yesterday we went to Janda Baik, for a picnic day. It’s been a while since we last went pinic together. As a matter of fact I can’t even recall when was the last time we hung together.

We left the house around 1.30 pm. Yeah-It was a lttl early to go for a picnic kan? The sun was still up high-shining bright. It was infact a very hot day. One of the hottest-If I may add. We stopped for lunch at- (shit, I can’t even remember where we stopped for lunch. dammit I hate short term memory lost) . Whatever it is, we stopped somewhere and had something for lunch.

After lunch, we continued to hit the road and made our to —

Okay, I remember it now. Duh, we stopped at Subway to grabe a bite. God-then we send Kak Insyirah back. Then only we continued our journey. haha. stupid =,=

So then we hit the road. I couldnt remember so much things along the journey. I was sleeping. The only thing I remember was Al waking me up- and guess why? She asked me to switch the radio (which was only a foot away) . Talk about extreme pemalas. Sheez.

We reached the picnic spot around five o’clock and I had nooo idea what took us so long to get there. Traffic-maybe. We unpacked and changed to our swimming attires. heh heh. (no bathing suits just seluar tracks and long sleeved shirts) The river was spectacular. It was drastically woooshing and the sound was nice and peaceful. We were the only ones there so we got a little privacy. Ammar could shout the hell out and Ben10 could run around like mad dogs.

Ben10, Lisa and Ammar swam in the river while me and Al only took a dip. We were trying as hard as we can to avoid our tudung from gettin’ wet. Apparantly, both of us forgot to bring extra tudung. So try picturing this-whenever Ben10 splashed a LITTLE water to our faces, we would scream and screeeched like we saw alligators. Pretty much, it was the noisiest picnic ever.

After a half-an hour dip, we had  some food (I had no idea to either classify it as tea or dinner). Nasi lemak, some mr potato, tah aa roti apa entah and a gulp of mineral water. HAHA-gemuk gemuk. We then continued another 15 minutes of dip and then went back up. My mom gave a quick suggestion, to camp here (at Janda Baik) for two whole days. I carved a smile but my inside was screaming the hell out. Me and camping never worked together so It is soooo not going to happen :)

That night I skipped dinner and dropped a kg. Yayy.
